Overview
We are currently seeking both B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. As part of a highly regarded maintenance organisation, you’ll work across a range of GA aircraft providing maintenance for private, charter, and government operators. Full type training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Locations- Gold Coast
Duration- Permanent
Salary- $125,000 - $140 ,000 + Super
Benefits- Annual Bonus, Annual Salary Increase, Type Course Training
Relocation- Interstate relocation package from anywhere in ANZ
Responsibilities
Avionics: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on avionics systems (e.g., navigation, communication, radar, autopilot systems) in compliance with regulatory requirements. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on electrical and avionics systems. Work closely with engineering and flight operations teams to ensure timely and efficient aircraft maintenance. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including company policies, CASA requirements. Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel, mentoring junior team members Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary Mechanical:
Diagnose and repair faults in engines, airframes, and mechanical systems. Perform disassembly, rework, and reassembly of complex components. Maintain landing gear, pressurisation, air conditioning, and fuel systems. Conduct engine test runs, functional checks, and alignment tasks. Modify and repair aircraft systems and structures in accordance with approved data. Use specialised tools such as micrometers, pressure gauges, and tensiometers. Record maintenance actions clearly and accurately in logs and reports. Required Experience CASA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence – with first of type Be able to obtain Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC) Drivers licence Full Australian working rights – must have current Permanent Residency or Citizenship Benefits Work for one of the world’s leading aviation companies!
