Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycleTest Planning, test preparation, Test execution, and Test status reportingDesign and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation suites using Selenium and JavaWrite, execute, and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systemsDetect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failure.Identify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.Responsible for verifying that software applications and systems meet specified requirements and function correctly.Execute manual functional tests according to established test plans and test cases.Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved without introducing new problems.Validate that software changes and enhancements meet acceptance criteria and do not adversely impact existing functionality. Strong hold on Defect Management & tracking until its closureCommunicate test progress, results, and issues effectively to the project team and management.

Required Skills

Excellent development skills in either Java or Python is mandatoryExcellent experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG / Junit, build tools and Continuous Integration toolsUnderstanding of machine learning techniques, data structures, algorithms, statisticsExpertise in developing automation pipelines & frameworks for verification of machine learning modelsExperience in collecting and maintaining data according to test plans / casesShould be able to design & implement robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation suitesExperience of API automation, integration and unit testing is good to have.Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN ) and configuration concepts (branching, merging etc.)Experience and understanding of Agile development conceptsGood to have JMeter knowledge.
