SRC, Inc. is currently seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer. This position can be remote in Orlando, FL or on customer site. The selected candidate will help manage and design AVD solutions supporting 60+ developer groups employing cutting-edge technology stacks. The AVD Engineer will be tasked with implementing, managing, and optimizing AVDs and Virtual Machines (VM), while driving speed & capability enhancements for our warfighters. What You'll Do Architecting & managing secure, high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practicesImplementing, managing, & optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelinesDesigning & implementing approaches to continuously update & secure AVD resourcesDeveloping scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a cloud environmentDocumenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration Learning and adapting to new Azure cloud resources, with opportunities for formal training What You'll Bring Ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level Security Clearance4+ years of experience in Azure and AVD technologies or similar Virtual Desktop solutions Experience with Windows Installer technologies and implementation of shared VM resourcesExperience architecting & designing Azure-based solutionsUnderstanding of high-availability environments such as clustering, failover, and geographic redundancyUnderstanding of network design & topologies including edge services & point-to-point VPNs within cloud environs Ways to Stand Out – Preferred Requirements Microsoft Azure, AWS, RHEL, and/or Windows Server certification(s)Proficient with a scripting programming language like Bash, Python, or PowerShellProficient with Configuration Management techniques using AnsibleExperience with managed Anti-virus tools like McAfee and Trellix ePolicy OrchestratorFamiliarization with Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementationAtlassian Tools Suite experience (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket) What Sets Us Apart?
