Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering (Azure preferred).

Proficient in:

Building, operating, maintaining, and supporting cloud infrastructure and data services at scale.

Engineering and deploying a wide range of Azure services.

Skilled in:

Collaborating across multiple support groups contributing to service delivery.

Working with high-availability/high-load infrastructure (e.g., web and reverse proxies).

Experience in:

Data Quality, Management, Controls & Governance.

Security and Compliance (IAM, cloud auditing, monitoring tools).

Troubleshooting complex issues across cloud, services, and application stacks.

Strong documentation, change management, and agile development practices.

Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Core Services: Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Containers, Databases

Data & Analytics: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Data Lake Store

Additional technology experience with:

Infrastructure: CosmosDB, Nginx/Apache, Linux, Bash, PowerShell

Automation Tools: Terraform, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates

Streaming Platforms: Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, Spark Streaming

Familiar with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and SOAR technologies, particularly cloud-based solutions.

Education and Background

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

Bachelor’s in any STEM discipline with relevant programming, data, or technology experience.

Alternative Qualifications:

Candidates without a degree may be considered with strong, demonstrable experience and/or industry certifications in Cloud, Data, or Cybersecurity.
