These centres provide specialized expertise and resources, ensuring that we can meet the unique needs of our clients and drive innovation in AI and data cost effectively. **About the role** An Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will work with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, and your responsibilities include provisioning resources, automating deployments, monitoring performance, and ensuring the security and cost-efficiency of cloud environments. **Key responsibilities** + Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime + Implement and manage networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and Load Balancers + Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts + Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform + Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions + Perform backup and disaster recovery planning using Azure Backup and Site Recovery + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services and resources + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and security engineers + Maintain documentation for cloud configurations, procedures, and best practices + Optimize cloud resource usage and costs using Azure Cost Management tools **About you** The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
