Contract Duration: 3 months (Possiblity of full-time conversion after 3 months) Eligibility: Open to candidates currently not employed Requirements: AWS Certification & Previous relevant experience is essential The role The Cloud Expert is responsible for managing the pre-sales operations tasks. This role is key to ensuring SoftwareOne can maintain our overall customer experience by providing cloud publisher expertise and enabling the sales team to focus on their core selling activities. Responsible for supporting existing accounts with their quoting needs for specific publishers Consolidating customer contracts with customers to optimize their pricing and renewal dates Publisher specific Opportunity Management – contacting customers to actively consult them on renewals Management of open customer requests Drive resolution of escalations by working with customers, publishers and other internal departments Facilitate the credit and rebill process with operations specialists and finance Summary The Associate will provide guidance to the sales team and customers on the on-boarding process along with complete knowledge solution around program in the hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google). Roles & Responsibilities Maintains basic level knowledge of service and solution offerings specific to publishers and is a customer-facing resource for sales activities alongside SoftwareOne resources. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on publisher’s Products and Licensing for internal contacts and customers Customer quoting Demonstrates effective interaction skills by providing pricing and delivery information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests. Must have Research driven approach to find all relevant information required to complete tasks. Understanding the business of hyperscaler programs (Microsoft, AWS, Google) & support the Global Subsidiaries and customers with the required knowledge. Providing the knowledge Solution on commercial onboardings Supporting the sales team and customers by resolving their pre- and aftersales queries with deep understanding of the programs Pushes him/herself to continuously improve customer experience and achieve customer delight. What we need to see from you Experience Must have an associate degree to qualify for university certification from an accredited institution Previous experiences in a similar position or working experiences in similar roles is an advantage Candidate must possess excellent demonstrated decision-making, analytical and communication skills. The candidate must also be able to deal with ambiguity, be able to interact with a cross section of people and effectively influence others without direct authority. Mandatory-AWS Certified or Any Cloud Certification Knowledge Fluent in English with excellent command over grammar Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical are also required. Publisher Knowledge on Microsoft, AWS or/and Google (preferable) Additional Language knowledge would also be an added advantage possess. Should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time frames as an individual contributor Solid problem solving, consultative and research skills Ability to analyze information with attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment General math skills, PC proficient, knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP Systems Personality able to identify the right query – demonstrate effective comprehension skills and paraphrasing skills Display active listening and ask the right questions if in doubt or probe if need clarity demonstrate customer centric mindset Ensure to follow up on your commitment by providing a timely update to customers What we offer Stipend for the 12-week SOAR program: Receive financial support throughout the duration of our 12-week SOAR program.
