As an AWS Software Engineer III-Machine Learning at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology-Consumer and Community Banking Risk team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experiencePractical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in Python, capable of writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for various applications, data analysis, and automationPrior hands on experience with AWS cloud platform, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern database and querying Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleStrong understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
