Your Role

As an AWS Services Business Development Manager (BDM), you'll leverage your proven sales experience and strong relationships to expand our market presence and drive significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Planning:

Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies.Partner with local leadership to define clear revenue and growth objectives.Create and execute comprehensive account and territory plans to effectively manage multiple accounts.Define clear alignment with local Cloud BDMs and PDMs for seamless handling of services-specific opportunities.

Relationship Management:

Build and nurture strategic relationships with key AWS contacts, including sales, professional services, and partner development teams.Foster strong relationships with partners, promoting our service offerings and consulting capabilities.Represent Ingram Micro at key vendor and partner events, actively seeking new service opportunities and collaborations.

Market Expansion:

Identify and develop strategies for entering new markets and customer segments.Lead initiatives targeting new customer adoption of cloud services.Analyze competitive landscapes to differentiate and strengthen market position.Support the continuous development and refinement of AWS service solutions and go-to-market strategies.

Sales Delivery & Achievement:

Take ownership of complex sales engagements, including RFP responses, proposals, and customer presentations.Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities.Consistently achieve and exceed defined revenue targets set by Ingram Micro and AWS.Maintain and report regularly on a robust sales pipeline.Expertly position key AWS programs, including OLA, MAP, and WAFR.Provide accurate, timely, and strategic account reporting to management.

Personal Development:

Build and strengthen relationships across internal and external teams.Develop in-depth knowledge of the Ingram Micro AWS services portfolio and capabilities.Maintain awareness of internal subject matter experts and industry best practices.Stay ahead by continually updating your skills and understanding emerging technologies and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

Must-haves:

Experience in cloud computing sales or business development.AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or AWS Associate Certification.

A plus:

Knowledge of AWS Optimisation Licensing and Assessment (OLA), Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR).Familiarity with compute services (EC2, containers, serverless), observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, DataDog), CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, Jenkins), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), containers/orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes), AI/ML, and cloud migrations (VMware, Azure).

Skills & Characteristics

Minimum of 2 years in Professional and Managed Services sales.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch (French is a plus).Strong networking abilities within industry peers and customers.Flexible, proactive, and willing to exceed customer expectations.Able to address complex challenges effectively.Willingness and ability to travel.
