Our Above Water Systems team provides engineering & maintenance services to Royal Australian Navy vessels and commercial ships. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrical Tradesperson with a strong focus on compliance and safety to join as an Electrical Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Support planning, scheduling, and implementation of the Electrical Compliance Program.Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and regulations.Maintain and develop the Test & Tag program, including technical guidance and software use.Assist with product recall assessments, quality control documentation, and internal training resources.Supervise multi-skilled teams and contribute to continuous improvement and safety culture.

About You:

Licensed Australian Electrical Tradesperson with minimum 5 years’ trade experience.At least 2 years’ experience in compliance or Test & Tag activities.Certified in Test & Tag, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and Lock Out Tag Out.Strong understanding of electrical compliance standards and digital tools.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Leadership experience or qualifications in supervision (e.g. Cert IV).

Desirable:

Background in ship repair or defence support environments.Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001).Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
