CTG is seeking to fill an AWS Data Engineer for our client in Newark, NJ. Location: Newark, NJ Duration: 2 years Duties: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and Athena. Architect and implement robust ETL processes and data integration solutions using Spark, Airflow (MWAA), and other AWS-native tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver optimal solutions that align with business goals. Build, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools. Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFT). Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure high availability and performance. Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data processing systems. Skills: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Airflow/MWAA. Proficient in data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark. Deep understanding of AWS networking concepts and security best practices. Expertise in data pipeline design and end-to-end solutioning using AWS ecosystem. Experience with integration design, development, and debugging within AWS environments. Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline creation, and Jenkins automation. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation Templates. Familiarity with source control tools like BitBucket. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on cloud-based solutions. At least 3 years of experience working with AWS data services and pipeline development. Demonstrated success in building production-grade data infrastructure and automation. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
