Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid)
Preferred Characteristics
+ Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IAM technologies, cloud processes, and capabilities.
+ Skilled in scripting, coding pipelines, and automation.
+ Experience in cloud governance, audits, controls, and compliance.
+ Familiar with cloud monitoring, threat detection, and resolution tools.
+ Strong communicator with technical, product, and business teams.
+ Ability to align Cloud IAM solutions with engineering, product, and application needs.
+ Comfortable working in matrix teams and owning deliverables.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
+ Deliver and operate Cloud IAM solutions across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
+ Manage day-to-day Cloud IAM implementation, feasibility, and architecture within ARTs.
+ Act as a Cloud IAM SME, collaborating with Engineering, BAU, and ART teams.
+ Participate in PI planning, assess IAM dependencies, and conduct feasibility studies.
+ Coordinate with Risk and Assurance teams to define and manage IAM controls.
+ Handle role creation/modification requests and ensure compliance.
+ Manage ART-level work intake, incidents, and backlog to support cloud standardization.
+ Perform security and compliance checks, create service tickets, and expedite access requests.
+ Provide break-fix support and maintain architectural documentation.
+ Own ART-level backlog and provide sprint updates to RTEs and Product Owners.
Technical Skills
+ 4+ years in AWS IAM and/or AWS Security engineering.
+ 7+ years in Python automation for AWS configuration.
+ 4+ years managing AWS IAM policies, SAML, cross-account roles, and access controls.
+ Experience in IAM process development, app integration, compliance, and service delivery.
+ 4+ years with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
+ 5+ years in CI/CD automation (Bitbucket, Jenkins, EKS, ECR, Chef).
+ Proficient in AWS IAM, Identity Center, Access Analyzer, and related AWS services.
+ Strong grasp of IAM principles and best practices on AWS.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $135,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
