Collaborate with stakeholders on technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and engineering standards enforcement
Architect and manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests
Evaluate systems for capacity, scalability, and reliability; identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Design and implement event-driven architectures using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS)
Define and enforce S3 lifecycle policies and RDS high-availability strategies
Develop and optimize Lambda functions for performance and cost efficiency
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Develop automation scripts to streamline operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Monitor and maintain environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and centralized logging solutions
Lead workload optimization efforts following the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Drive cloud modernization initiatives, including cloud-native migrations of internal services and data platforms
Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization through industry best practices and continuous learning
Skills & Qualifications Required:AWS Certification – AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or higher
Proven experience architecting and engineering AWS environments
Hands-on expertise with core AWS services: EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC
Strong experience with VPC design, availability zones, cloud networking, and security best practices
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
Expertise with IaC tools: Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
