Description Job Title: AVP of Operations – Landscaping & Construction Location: Torrance Area, CA (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent A well-established and growing landscaping construction company in Torrance Area is seeking a results-driven AVP of Operations to lead and optimize daily field operations. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in construction or landscape operations, team management, and project execution. WKey Responsibilities: + Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards + Supervise and mentor crew leaders and field staff, with a focus on safety, training, and performance + Manage project schedules, labor allocation, and resource planning + Oversee equipment, vehicle, and material procurement and maintenance + Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs from proposal to execution + Monitor job costs, labor hours, and KPIs to drive efficiency and profitability + Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance + Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of field staff to support team growth eQualifications: + Proven experience in construction, landscaping, or field operations management + Strong leadership and team development skills + Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities + Familiarity with scheduling software, job costing, and performance tracking + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred If you're passionate about leading teams, optimizing operations, and making an impact in a growing organization, apply now and be part of a company that values quality, safety, and people.
