Description We are looking for an experienced AVP of Operations to oversee and optimize our company's daily activities and long-term strategies. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in operations, technology, and vendor management. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, the position offers the opportunity to work with diverse teams and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement operational strategies to align with organizational objectives and drive efficiency.
• Lead and supervise teams across various departments, including order processors, technicians, and IT specialists, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
• Manage relationships with vendors, customers, engineering groups, and international manufacturing partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Monitor daily business activities and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring optimal allocation of materials and resources.
• Review financial data and adjust operational budgets to support profitability and sustainability.
• Establish and enforce company policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Analyze performance metrics to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
• Organize customer support operations to enhance satisfaction and build strong client relationships.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to oversee operations and strengthen partnerships. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in operations, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the technology sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to make assertive decisions and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in tools such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, and financial software.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of procurement, budgeting, and compliance practices.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips, to support business objectives.
