The Atlanta Retail Marketing Manager supports a branch consisting of approximately $983M in written premium, 497 brokers and agents, and 85 underwriters. This leadership position’s core responsibility is to lead the branch’s sales and distribution efforts and is accountable for implementing and executing internal sales processes, driving profitable growth opportunities for all segments and products, instilling a sales culture, assisting the Atlanta Branch Manager and Business Unit Managers with strategy planning and execution, Contingent Income administration, and effectively managing the distribution channel via agency planning, new appointments, terminations, and increased penetration. All types of distribution are represented in the territory, including multinational brokers, interstate and large regional agencies and local independents. A key focus will be profiling/mapping out people and opportunities with agents/brokers that have growth opportunities for us. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for being the Regional Leader for identified industry verticals that are growth opportunities in the territory. The Atlanta Retail Marketing Manager will also support two additional branches in the Southeast Region, Birmingham and Nashville.
Additional responsibilities for this function include:
Identify, analyze and develop sources of desirable new business opportunities from existing and new market relationships. Provide leadership in accessing opportunities for growth in each segment and product as well as working with managers to identify, articulate and execute priorities Coordinate and direct branch’s pipeline, cross-selling efforts and production meetings Maintain high visibility in market and assist businesses with the development of employee sales/marketing skills Identify and share information regarding competitor products and underwriting Acting as a training resource for producer management, competitor analysis, and sales skills Maintain open and timely communication with the branch regarding marketing and business updates, initiatives, local conditions and producer compensation/results

Education/Experience:
Underwriting and/or business development experience is preferred. BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience
