AVP, Treasury Accounting & Administration 

Leadership role responsible for the company’s cash accounting and bank administration activities. Directs and manages daily operations of these treasury functions and leads a team of local staff and contractors. Success in this role involves substantial cross-department collaboration to ensure sound financial decision-making and compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the direction, coordination and operations of the Treasury Accounting and Bank Administration teams Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis associated with incoming and outgoing cash transactions Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting Support corporate accounting, capital management, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to treasury transactions and entity structure Drive and support the initiatives to optimize banking infrastructure and cash management processes Collaborate with IT in establishing and maintaining treasury technology solutions including required interfaces, to support cash management activities Coordinate timely and accurate bank account reconciliations Oversee the reporting on corporate credit facilities and ensure adherence to established treasury policies Demonstrate leadership and training skills to further develop managers and analysts within the department

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or finance requiredMBA or advanced degree in related field preferred

CPACTP

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Knowledge of accounting principlesAdvanced knowledge of GAAP accounting rulesTreasury knowledgeAdvanced MS Excel skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

10+ years of experience in related field
