AVP, Strategic Sales Executive - Retail Consolidation Solutions

Essential Job Functions:
Lead the charge on new business acquisition for Hub Group’s retail consolidation programs. Identify, pursue, and close opportunities with suppliers, manufacturers, and importers who ship into major retailers like Walmart, Target, Costco, and others. Articulate the value of retail consolidation, including reduced transportation costs, higher OTIF scores, improved inventory management, and streamlined inbound compliance. Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and discovery to solution development, pricing, proposal, and close. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (network design, pricing, operations, and implementation) to design tailored consolidation solutions. Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic targets, leveraging data, insights, and marketing resources. Stay informed on evolving retailer requirements, OTIF penalties, routing guide changes, and trends impacting CPG and retail supply chains. Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly new revenue targets.Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of sales experience in 3PL, transportation, retail logistics, or supply chain solutions. Strong understanding of retail consolidation models and vendor-to-retailer shipping programs. Experience working with or selling into shippers who supply big-box or omni-channel retailers. Proven track record of building pipeline and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Ability to engage at all levels of the organization, from supply chain managers to executives. High degree of professionalism, resilience, and a results-driven mindset. Proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement platforms.Salary Range: $101,000 - $120,000/year base salary plus eligibility for additional incentive/equity programs
