Job Overview

Global Wealth is a trusted advisor to the world’s wealthiest, most influential individuals and families. As part of Citi’s Global Wealth Management Group, we offer a wide range of products and services covering capital markets, managed investments, portfolio management, trust and estate planning, investment finance and banking.  Among its select clients are a third of the world’s billionaires, many of whom are globally minded entrepreneurs with an expectation of an institutional level of service, who take advantage of Citi’s holistic approach to wealth management.

The Payments market is constantly evolving with new initiatives such as Open Banking, ISO20022 and payments innovations on mobile banking. This role will manage new Payments and Debit Card initiatives, compliance and industry mandates and contribute ideas on Core Payment Products (Domestic & Cross Border) and Debit Card strategy including driving digital adoption and focus on payments related controls.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day product management for Core Payment Products and Debit Card, which includes product delivery, client experience, and client communicationPlan and manage initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle working with cross-functional project teams within Citi and external partnersDefine product requirements, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteriaPerform system testing and issue managementAssist the customer lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early client engagement and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performanceProvide insight and recommendations on innovative Payment and Debit Card product development, segmentation and marketing strategiesOversee product financial performance including identifying opportunities and gaps, and developing business strategiesWork with Operations and Technology with regards to process design and vendor procurement, communicate business plans on marketplace approachParticipate in budgeting and planning for strategic priorities and initiativesAssess risks in business decisions with a focus on protecting the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by ensuring strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policy.

Qualifications:

6-8 years of relevant experienceDebit Card or Card related product experience, cross functional experience (e.g. marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, data analytics)Knowledge in payments products including instant payment, Cross-Border payment, digital payment channels, regulatory projectsDemonstrated experience in driving business innovation, leveraging data to drive product commercializationStrong project management skillProven ability to perform effectively under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines and adapting swiftly to changesExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional lines

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent
