Help us help others, and join Team Unum today! **General Summary:** This leadership role is responsible for is responsible for designing strategies to grow the rate of acquiring new premier customers, managing the implementation, and onboarding of those customers. They will lead and develop a professional and knowledgeable team of Directors that are accountable for the successful on-boarding of Colonial Life clients and ongoing support of complex existing clients. This leader will develop and maintain strong relationships with Colonial Life's sales organization, clients, and broker relationships, and will be a strong functional business leader within the Home Office. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** + Develops Colonial Life client and implementation strategy. + Responsible for the development and management of an effective, efficient, high volume operational business model which includes making recommendations for broader business efficiency gains. + Ensure cross functional alignment between key IT enterprise initiatives with Colonial Life. + Lead a team of directors with oversight over client intake/discovery, client implementation and enrollment. + Responsible for cultivating relationship with key agents and brokers to grow their business. + Lead efforts with IT business partners to enhance tracking and reporting capabilities designed to help manage the life cycle of Colonial Life’s complex client block of business + May perform other duties as assigned **Job Specifications** + 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience + A proven track record of success in operational and/or sales management roles with 10 or more years of relevant experience (insurance industry preferred) + Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others to implement strategic direction (drive change). Able to think and implement both strategically and tactically + High level of organization, implementation/execution, and project management skills + Strong business acumen and knowledge of Colonial Life’s sales and service value proposition and operational complexities + Highly knowledgeable in the following areas, underwriting, compensation, technology platforms, enrollment, product, billing and claims. + Ability to communicate, influence and interact effectively at all levels of the organization + Versed in application and interpretation of statistical analysis tools to identify sales and service opportunities and continuously improve processes + Ability to work credibly and develop relationships with mid and senior level field-based sales managers. + Ability to travel up to 25% of the time ~IN1 \#LI-RA1 Unum and Colonial Life are part of Unum Group, a Fortune 500 company and leading provider of employee benefits to companies worldwide. The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience. $114,100.00-$215,700.00 Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
