The AVP, Development Solutions Designer reports into Chubb Global Talent & Development and contributes to our mission of developing Chubb’s talent by building leadership, management, and professional curricula tied to Chubb Capabilities. The position is responsible for aligning development initiatives with business needs, fostering relationships across regions, ensuring effectiveness of learning solutions, and continuously improving offerings. The candidate will use best practices in workforce skill development and instructional design to create repeatable, scalable, high impact experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution design with emphasis on leadership development. Create and continuously improve relevant, high-impact programs using best practices and up-to-date knowledge of subject matter (e.g. “leading organizations”)
Curriculum design – creating a logical progression of programs that work across career phases
Applied measurement – translating evaluative data into program improvements
Consultation and relationship management – assessing needs, providing recommendations and solutions, staying close to ensure implementation has intended impact, drawing upon thought leadership within subject matter.
Cross cultural partnering – designing solutions that work across cultures and nationalities, partnering effectively with stakeholders around the world to earn their confidence and effectively advise them.
Training program facilitators
Program facilitation - virtual and in-person, typically about 8 hours per month, on average.
Travel required about 15% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.Knowledge of leadership development frameworksStrong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across diverse regions and functions.Ability to work at a fast pace, using agile and iterative approaches to solution development, while managing a large portfolio of programs.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and engaging manner.Strategic thinker: anticipates obstacles; takes an organized and logical approach to thinking through problems and complex issues
The pay range for the role is $115,000-$162,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
