Experience in performance management, salary administration, training, staff development, and succession planning is highly beneficial. The candidate should be an articulate communicator with a genuine interest in helping others achieve both corporate and personal goals. A thorough understanding of Chubb's systems, procedures, claims handling philosophy, and claims handling requirements/protocols is highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate must effectively manage business relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring issues and complaints are investigated and resolved fairly and equitably.
The pay range for the role is $71,900 to $134,700. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. A minimum of three years of experience in property claims management is required.In-depth knowledge of both personal and commercial lines policy contracts.Proven supervisory and/or management experience with remote teams is essential.Familiarity with applicable jurisdictional regulations is advantageous.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is required.Professional designations such as CPCU, SCLA, or AIC are highly preferred.Strong management and leadership skills.Comprehensive understanding of coverage and contract intricacies.Exceptional analytical and investigative abilities.Expertise in coverage application, litigation, and managing contractual relationships.Proficient in damage evaluation for both residential and commercial properties, with the capability to resolve high-exposure claims.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations to large groups.
