Avionics Systems Engineer

Overview:

We’re seeking a Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting complex aerospace and defense projects. This role offers hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering domains, contributing to the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Research and analyze various systems and architecturesPerform requirement decomposition and develop block diagramsConduct trade studies and present findings for reviewSupport Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR)Contribute to MBSE modeling and presentation materialsCollaborate across engineering disciplines and support both sides of the V-model

Required Skills:

Strong foundation in design and engineering principlesFamiliarity with systems engineering practicesProgramming experience in Java, C++, or PythonActive security clearanceExposure to aerospace or aircraft systems

Preferred Skills:

Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw)Familiarity with DOORS or Jama for requirements managementUnderstanding of product lifecycle managementConfiguration and Status Management (CSM) experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $110.00/hr.
