**Aviation Operations Manager** **Location: Remote – Arizona** **Schedule: Full-Time** **Compensation: Competitive** **Work Type: Remote** **Up to 90% travel!** **Join Our Life-Saving Reputable Medical flight transport Services Company!** The leading air ambulance provider in the U.S., is hiring an Aviation Operations Manager to oversee and optimize aviation operations across assigned air ambulance programs. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations while supporting pilot performance, aircraft readiness, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** + Exercise operational control over assigned aviation bases in coordination with the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot + Ensure pilot and aircraft availability in alignment with regional and company requirements + Supervise startup of new aviation bases, including pilot staffing and safety orientation + Monitor and support pilot performance, compliance, and administrative needs + Coordinate with Maintenance Managers to ensure aircraft are airworthy and available + Resolve operational issues through collaboration with internal teams and external partners + Lead and implement operational changes to improve quality, safety, and efficiency + Ensure compliance with PHI, FAA, OSHA, and customer regulations and procedures + Facilitate consistent processes and communication across bases + Support PHI’s Destination Zero safety initiative + Report to the Chief Operations Officer for business activities and to the Director of Operations for aviation control + Represent PHI Health in customer interactions and help resolve service-related concerns + Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement + Perform additional duties as assigned **Qualifications:** + High school diploma required + Commercial Helicopter Pilot with Instrument Rating + Minimum 5 years of operational management or supervisory experience, preferably in aviation or healthcare + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours + Must pass pre-placement drug screening and background check **WHY US?** + Over 40 years of air medical transport leadership + Industry-leading safety record and recipient of the Vision Zero Aviation Safety Award + More than 80 bases nationwide and 22,000+ patients transported annually + Mission-driven culture focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and service B **enefits** : Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Life and disability insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) Opportunities for professional development and advancement Supportive, safety-first work environment **Pay Details:** $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
