An Aviation Maintenace Administrator opportunity is currently available in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits.
This role involves updating and maintaining the Military Engine Scoring Application (MESA) and Military Data Warehouse (MDW) with detailed findings and root cause analyses related to engine and component removals, failures, and repairs. The position requires organizing and leading monthly review meetings, interfacing with suppliers, and supporting reliability assessments through data analysis and visual documentation. The individual will contribute to engineering change proposals, development problem reports, and quality assurance efforts to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities also include monitoring field and depot events, comparing Navy codes with depot findings, and facilitating data downloads from military systems. Additionally, the role supports the development and presentation of deliverables at monthly program meetings and contributes to ongoing database improvements.
Job Duties:
* Provide updates on engine removals with regards to event Symptom, Reason, Field Finding, Shop Findings and root cause for Engine Removals, Aborts/IFSD"s, Module Removals/BCM"s, WRA"s, Parts and Leaks.
* Summarize depot findings and root cause on Engines/Modules/Assemblies/WRA"s into the Military Data Warehouse (MDW).
* Organize and hold monthly meetings for Engine Removals, Module Removals, Leaks, WRA"s and Aborts/IFSD"s.
* Provide detailed descriptions and/or pictures of Engines/Modules/Assemblies in depot repair for reliability assessments.
* Interface with the Suppliers as needed in the root cause analysis of their component returns through the depot/OEM/CDF.
Requirements:
General experience with assembly/disassembly of gas turbine engines.
Previous experience understanding root cause of engine component failures.
General understanding of Aircraft Depot functions.
General understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Fluent in Microsoft Excel with ability to create and manipulate Pivot Tables, and key excel functions such as "vlookup".
Preferred:
Previous experience with assembly/disassembly of F404 / F414 engines is highly desirable.
Prior military experience with AD or AZ rating is highly preferrable.
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $60,000 to $82,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
