Be our next Aviation Construction Coordinator
Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation team, of the UX Sector, based in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach or Miami, FL.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Manage and document inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP systems.Monitor contractor performance, verifying work quality and adherence to approved drawings and schedules.Review and interpret construction drawings and submittals to identify and resolve potential field issues.Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates to maintain project progress.Provide field oversight and support to project managers, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.Maintain detailed field logs, photo documentation, and inspection reports for accurate project records.Ensure compliance with operational and security protocols, particularly in sensitive or active environments.Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and clients through regular meetings and reports.Monitor jobsite logistics, safety measures, and temporary protections to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Support financial management by verifying installed work for accurate contractor pay applications.Contribute to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes to meet industry and project standards.Assist in preparing project reports, budgets, and proposals for new work or project variations.Ensure adherence to project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.What your experience looks like
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management preferred 5+ years of experience in the management of large, complex, multi-package construction projects.Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, Program Management certification preferred.Registration as Architect or Engineer is desirable, but not required.
