\n\t\t\t\t\tThe Company\nFlight Director has been a trusted aviation supply chain partner for over 40 years, specializing in Used Serviceable Material (USM) and rotable spares for commercial and regional aircraft. We broker, trade, and supply high-quality spare parts across the aviation aftermarket, serving a diverse range of customers including airlines, lessors, maintenance repair organizations (MROs), and brokers. Our sales extend to end users such as commercial airlines, cargo operators, and charter companies. We collaborate closely with OEM-authorized and FAA/EASA-approved repair stations to ensure all parts meet stringent quality and regulatory standards, maintaining full compliance with the ASA quality program for aftermarket suppliers.\nJob Description\nAs a key support to the Sales Team, you will handle incoming RFQs and prepare accurate customer quotes focused on aviation material trading. You will assist with market research on used serviceable material (USM) availability and pricing, help broker deals between suppliers and customers, and support ongoing account management to ensure smooth transactions. Additionally, you will conduct cold calling and research to identify and develop new accounts, expanding our customer base. Occasional travel to industry trade shows and conferences may be required to build relationships and source new inventory. \nIdeal Candidate\nWe seek an experienced candidate with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to following Flight Director, Inc.'s SOPs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of quick problem-solving while maintaining solid communication and the ability to keep calm under stressful conditions. \nKey Responsibilities\n•Business development. Reach out to airlines to get Flight Director approved and receiving RFQ’s\n•Reach out to airlines, MRO’s and off market inventory holders to purchase material\n•Manage and grow accounts, ensuring strong relationships and ongoing business development.\n•Coordinate and schedule meetings for all industry conferences to maximize networking opportunities.\n•Identify and acquire new customers, expanding the company's market presence.\n•Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new sales opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights.\n•Prepare and deliver accurate customer quotes in a timely and professional manner.\n•Support the preparation and management of RFQs (Requests for Quotes) to optimize sales opportunities.\n•Actively generate new business leads to drive revenue growth.\n•Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring a seamless client experience.\n•Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and AvSight proficiently to manage sales processes and reporting efficiently.\n•Process purchase orders and sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.\n•Verify order details and coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.\n•Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to FAA and DoD regulations for product traceability.\n•Travel as needed to conferences and trade shows to represent the company and strengthen industry connections.\n\nClients and customers will be OEM's, Manufacturers, Airlines, Boeing, etc. It's an $80B industry.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $26.44/hr.
