This role is ideal for someone passionate about AV technology, with hands-on experience in Crestron, Extron, and QSC programming. You’ll collaborate with clients, managers, and systems engineers to build custom tools, develop control system modules, and support AV Programmers with advanced development efforts across a variety of AV platforms. Key Responsibilities + Design, code, test, and implement new software solutions; maintain and enhance existing systems + Develop and support AV control systems including Crestron, Extron, and QSC + Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements + Modify software to resolve issues, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware/interfaces + Lead system testing and validation efforts + Create technical documentation and train team members + Analyze system requirements and recommend upgrades or new installations + Provide technical support and maintenance + Research, prototype, and design new software systems and tools + Partner with AV Programmers to enhance productivity through development Top Skills – Must Haves + AV Control System Programming: Crestron, Extron, QSC + Programming Languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, Lua + Development Practices: Agile methodology, full SDLC + Databases: SQL, MongoDB + APIs: RESTful, WebSocket + Front-End Frameworks: Angular, React, Vue, Svelte + AV Experience: 3+ years of AV industry-specific programming Secondary Skills – Nice to Haves + .NET, C++ + AWS, Azure, Google Cloud + Flask, Django, Express.js + Linux system management + Git or Bitbucket version control + Integration with hardware/software APIs Qualifications + Proven experience as a Developer or Software Engineer + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) + Familiarity with Agile development methodologies + Knowledge of advanced data structures, design patterns, and multithreading + Proficiency in both functional and object-oriented programming paradigms + Comfortable working with and integrating hardware/software APIs + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to manage time independently Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
