AV Installer Tier 2
Job Description We are seeking experienced AV Installers to join a national team supporting the build-out of cutting-edge AV systems in newly constructed or renovated live music venues across the country. These Tier 2 Installers will play a critical hands-on role in equipment prep, cabling, installation, and system connectivity, ensuring systems are installed to spec and ready for commissioning. Key Responsibilities:  Interpret and work from technical schematics, architectural plans, and signal flow diagrams.  Prepare AV equipment at the shop prior to deployment (e.g. rack loading, prewiring, labeling).  Install AV hardware at venues including TVs, speakers, mounts, racks, and cable infrastructure.  Terminate and test various cable types: CAT6, coax, speaker wire, 9451 audio cable, twisted pair, and single-mode fiber.  Mount and rig AV equipment following safety and engineering guidelines.  Support transition to system testing phase, ensuring all connections match design documentation.  Collaborate closely with project managers, construction crews, and commissioning teams. Skills and Requirements Qualifications:  5+ years of hands-on AV installation experience in commercial or live entertainment environments.  Advanced knowledge of audio signal flow, rack assembly, cable termination, and mounting standards.  Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings and blueprints.  Familiarity with AV standards and tools; soldering experience is a strong plus.  CTS or CTS-I certification preferred.  Willingness to travel extensively (23 weeks at a time per job site).  Ability to work in active construction environments with physical labor as needed null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
