Job Description A large insurance client is looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to sit hybrid in Stamford, CT or New York City. This person will be focused on installing and troubleshooting all AV technologies for the company, ensuring that they are operating with unified communications across locations globally. On the day to day, this person will be designing and installing solutions for Creston and Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate has worked at an Audio Visual Integrator and has installed hardware like cameras, microphones, speakers, and conferencing systems. They should also have experience working with vendors to plan, install, and upgrade these hardware systems when redesigning conference rooms. Quarterly domestic travel may be required to design and install hardware into new conference rooms. Skills and Requirements Past experience installing and integrating audio visual technologies including cameras, microphones, speakers, and conferencing systems Specifically with Crestron (preferred) or Extron AV Systems Coming from an Audio Visual Integrator like HB Communications, Comnet Communications or IVIC Communications or working directly with them Vendor Management background, experience working in tandem with the vendor to install that Past experience working live events Experience installing some/all of the below hardware brands and technologies BirdDog cameras Shure microphones Crestron Teams Room Systems Tesira amplifiers Crestron and Extron integration hardware NDI (Network Device Interface) streaming protocols OBX Studio for video editing and streaming Microsoft Teams Understanding of Active Directory and how it integrates with conference rooms Reinsurance or insurance experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
