Job Responsibilities:

This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.

Massiv Die-Form, a division of Magna International, designs and builds medium to large cast automotive and hot stamping dies. We are currently looking for One (1) Auxiliary Coordinator to join our team!

Shift: Days

Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

Tool and Die or Machinist Certification or comparable experience within Automotive Manufacturing

Good communication skills, attendance and performance required.

Experience in working with designs and vendors is an asset

Duties & Responsibilities:

Regular communication / visits with vendors to audit and confirm adherence to MDF Manufacturing requirements

Host Scope of Work review with suppliers to communicate basic information and expectations for component manufacture and delivery based on Scope of Work

Utilize auditing tools and DQEP to evaluate vendor capacity for load management  

Monitor/Audit engineering level releases as per part history and releases from Program Management process

Support inspection and approval of design concept. (Supplier buying for manufacturing and tool manufacturing)

Address and resolve technical issues found during tooling design and manufacturing

Track meeting minutes and follow up on open design items when necessary

Audit supplier timing and report Auxiliary status weekly to Massiv PM via MS Teams meeting and email

Populate respective fields on MDF’s DQEP system and attend DQEP reviews

Solely responsible for maintaining the AUX timing chart and work folders on S:\ drive

Audit buy off books and provide final shipping approval of Aux Items once all open issues closed

Attend local/oversea buy offs at supplier facility if necessary

Provide necessary DIRT info to MDF Shipping Dept to organize shipment of oversea tooling

Maintain open issues list and communicate open points to Suppliers, including deductions for tools shipped with un-closed open issues. (debit memo process to be followed)

Provide Vendors and Purchasing with feedback on AUX items via “Supplier Feedback” form

Supply budgetary numbers to MDF PMs for DCNs

Responsible to maintain and improve QAS policies, procedures and work instructions

Maintain customer/supplier standards data base and perform other reasonable duties as required
