Automotive Warranty Administrator CDJR
Job Summary As an Automotive Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner. You will ensure compliance with all manufacturer and company guidelines and play a vital role in optimizing warranty reimbursement and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately process warranty claims according to manufacturer and dealership policies. * Review repair orders to verify warranty coverage and documentation. * Submit claims to manufacturers and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims. * Reconcile warranty receivables and assist with auditing and reporting. * Maintain knowledge of current manufacturer warranty programs and changes. * Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure proper documentation. * Respond to manufacturer inquiries regarding warranty claims. * Keep detailed records of all warranty work and communications. Requirements: * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive warranty administration. * Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty guidelines (e.g., Ford, GM, Toyota, Dodge, Jeep, etc.). * Proficient with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack etc.). * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a high-volume dealership environment. * ASE or OEM certifications related to service or warranty administration.
