Automotive Technician
Job Title: Automotive Technician Job Description Multiple roles available related to Testing of Prototype Vehicles. Specific Role will depend on areas of experience and and knowledge. Roles may involve complete Teardown and Rebuild of vehicles for testing. Potential Dynamometer Testing for Noise, Durability, Emissions. Engine Performance testing and Optimization Responsibilities + Receive and prioritize work tickets from the engineering team. + Perform tasks such as changing tires, structure testing, and water testing on a variety of vehicles, including trucks and Corvettes. + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to address and resolve vehicle issues. + Attend regular meetings with group leaders to review safety incidents and learning opportunities. + Manage and complete 5-10 work tickets daily, depending on the complexity of the tasks. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of mechanical experience. + Experience with vehicle integration, mechanical repair, and electrical diagnosis. + Proficiency Vehicle Repair + High School Diploma or equivalent education. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Dealership experience is beneficial. + Motivated, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic, with opportunities to work on brand-new vehicles in a well-equipped garage. You will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to push your skill set to the test in a state-of-the-art facility. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
