Intern – Engineering Team Support (Automotive Systems Engineering Internship) – Traction Inverters
Location: Kraków, ul. Pana Tadeusza 4
Employment Type: Paid Internship
Duration: Over 6 months
Working Hours: Minimum 80 hours per month
Work Mode: On-site

Responsibilities:

Creating block diagrams and functional flowchartsSupporting project configuration managementPreparing and updating technical documentationParticipating in system and software testing under the supervision of experienced engineersAssisting in the lab with assembling and configuring test benchesCollaborating with the team on test result analysis and reportingSupporting administrative tasks related to projectsMaintaining System FMEA data in the dedicated tool – PLATO e1nsMonitoring progress on risk mitigation actions (updating JIRA tickets, Burn Down charts)Updating traceability references in project documentation

Requirements:

Student status (preferably 4th year) in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, mechatronics, or related fieldsEnglish proficiency at minimum B2 level (spoken and written)Interest in electronics, embedded systems, or systems engineeringTeamwork skills, attention to detail, independence, and commitmentNice to have: basic knowledge of tools/languages such as Python, Simulink, C

Gain hands-on engineering knowledge in designing, testing, and documenting embedded systems and traction inverters used in modern electric and hybrid vehiclesLearn industry best practices in model-based systems engineering, configuration management, risk analysis (SFMEA), and working in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262)Work with professional engineering tools such as:

Bitbucket (Git): version control and team collaborationJIRA: task tracking and project managementPLATO e1ns: risk analysis and SFMEA documentationSimulink: system modeling and simulationPolarion: requirements and project documentation management

Gain experience working in an international team environment, using English in daily technical communicationHave the opportunity for continued employment – interns may be offered a permanent position after completing the internship

Recruitment process:

CV Review - Your application and CV will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and experience in relation to the role requirements.Phone Interview (approximately 20 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.Technical Interview (1h) - Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
