Intern – Engineering Team Support (Automotive Systems Engineering Internship) – Traction InvertersLocation: Kraków, ul. Pana Tadeusza 4Employment Type: Paid InternshipDuration: Over 6 monthsWorking Hours: Minimum 80 hours per monthWork Mode: On-siteIndustry: AutomotiveProduct: Traction inverter, embedded systems
Responsibilities:
+ Creating block diagrams and functional flowcharts
+ Supporting project configuration management
+ Preparing and updating technical documentation
+ Participating in system and software testing under the supervision of experienced engineers
+ Assisting in the lab with assembling and configuring test benches
+ Collaborating with the team on test result analysis and reporting
+ Supporting administrative tasks related to projects
+ Maintaining System FMEA data in the dedicated tool – PLATO e1ns
+ Monitoring progress on risk mitigation actions (updating JIRA tickets, Burn Down charts)
+ Updating traceability references in project documentation
Requirements:
+ Student status (preferably 4th year) in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, mechatronics, or related fields
+ English proficiency at minimum B2 level (spoken and written)
+ Interest in electronics, embedded systems, or systems engineering
+ Teamwork skills, attention to detail, independence, and commitment
+ Nice to have: basic knowledge of tools/languages such as Python, Simulink, C
Internship Outcomes:
Participating in this internship is not only a chance to gain experience but also a real opportunity to grow your career in the automotive and embedded systems industry. During the internship, you will:
+ Gain hands-on engineering knowledge in designing, testing, and documenting embedded systems and traction inverters used in modern electric and hybrid vehicles
+ Learn industry best practices in model-based systems engineering, configuration management, risk analysis (SFMEA), and working in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262)
+ Work with professional engineering tools such as:
+ Bitbucket (Git): version control and team collaboration
+ JIRA: task tracking and project management
+ PLATO e1ns: risk analysis and SFMEA documentation
+ Simulink: system modeling and simulation
+ Polarion: requirements and project documentation management
+ Gain experience working in an international team environment, using English in daily technical communication
+ Have the opportunity for continued employment – interns may be offered a permanent position after completing the internship

Recruitment process:
+ CV Review - Your application and CV will be reviewed to assess your qualifications and experience in relation to the role requirements.
+ Phone Interview (approximately 20 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
+ Technical Interview (1h) - Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
