Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

This position is responsible for coordinating service and repair activities for Vehicle Acquisition Services to include ordering, receiving, and distributing parts for the Mechanic Shop and Body Shop. This position is also responsible for generating, receiving, and paying purchase orders through established systems. Additional duties may include maintaining inventories of shop tools and supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

Order, receive and distribute parts for the Mechanic Shop and Body ShopUtilize Oracle iProcurement system to procure and reconcile purchases and returns of partsEnsure timely ordering and processing of purchase orders through iProcurement and/or AP shared service centerMaintain inventory control in all applicable systemsMaintain electronic records in all applicable systemsVerify inventory at the end of the monthSupervise shop personnel and perform other duties at the direction of the Mechanic Shop ManagerMaintain neat and orderly work spaceWear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working specific areas.Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

             

High school diploma or GED equivalency

Experience in an automotive related businessPrior parts counter/management experience at large automotive parts supplier, repair facility or dealershipCompetent office skills, i.e. using telephone, PC, Microsoft OfficeSolid math skillsAble to work independentlySolid organizational skillsValid driver’s licenseAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to bend, squat and outstretch arms.  Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
