The Automotive Mechanic II will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide
range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The Automotive Mechanic II will perform independent
project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members. This position is located in Greer, SC.

As an Automotive Mechanic ll, you will:
Maintain test vehicle functional condition by conducting inspections and performing required hardware updatesRepair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components.Perform short testing drives to validate repairs and updatesRead, interpret, and follow service procedures and HW retrofit instructionsMaintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders in appropriate documentation toolsParticipate in daily shop team meetings and maintain a clean and organized workspaceTo be considered as an Automotive Mechanic ll, you will need:
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 4 years of work experience as a Mechanic Knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipmentGood attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamOwnership of tools with rolling toolbox Ability to read, comprehend and execute written proceduresA successful candidate may also have:
Certificate in Automotive Technology or relatedNational Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)State Mechanic Certification(s)Valid driver’s licenseKnowledge of vehicle alignments, air conditioning (A/C) system repairs, tire machines and balancersExperience working with BMW vehicles 2021 or newerExperience working in a manufacturing facilityKnowledge of vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
