Role Purpose:

The Automation Tester design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API testing using Rest Assured and Karate while Collaborate with Business analysis/Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage within Wholesale Credit Platform - Credit application and approval tool are the strategic staff channel for commercial lending based on Oracle SaaS solution.

Main Activities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API testing using Rest Assured and Karate. Collaborate with Business analysis/Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Taking ownership in preparing and executing Automation Test Scripts from Functional Specification/Requirements Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. Delivering well structured, maintainable, and fully tested code to UAT for business testing Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not impacted by new code changes. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Analyse test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the team. Continuously improve the automation process and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
