Our international client is looking for an Automation Test Lead to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 6 months with a high chance of extension. This position is hybrid in Krakow, 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Key Skills

Collaborate across teams to plan and execute automated testing using modern tools and practices. Design, run, and analyse tests at all levels: Unit, Integration, System, UAT, and SIT. Create clear test documentation from user stories and stakeholder input. Strong Java skills with experience writing production-quality test code. Proficient in scripting and test automation framework development. Hands-on with tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Tosca, JMeter, and LoadRunner. Experience in various testing types: Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance, and Security. Skilled in using tools like AppDynamics and Kibana for real-time test result visualisation. Familiar with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable). Strong collaboration skills across global teams and disciplines. Mentor and support other testers; uphold engineering best practices.

Tech Stack Requirements

Selenium for UI testing API testing with Rest Assured or Karate BDD with Cucumber/Gherkin Java Spring Boot microservices testing
