This is a consulting opportunity through Actalent, where you would be working onsite at a client location in Chicago’s West Loop. The project is long-term and full-time, with an indefinite duration, offering stability within a consulting capacity.Repair and maintain complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, and alarms.Install electrical equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues by replacing and repairing components and identifying/repairing defective control modules.Perform complex wiring assignments and install power, light, electronic, and control circuits.Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior maintenance electricians.Demonstrate computer proficiency in programming, particularly with PLCs and Foxboro systems.Conduct PLC troubleshooting, analyze system failures, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.Shift: 1st. Travel: None.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
