Automation Systems Technician III
1st Shift M-F 5am-1:30pm
**Summary:**
The candidate will be required to work in warehouse areas, refrigerated areas, and in freezers with temperatures of -30c or colder. This job requires the candidate to continually handle and move boxes and pallets both manually and with automated equipment. The candidate will be expected to have previous experience with automated systems and must be able to perform and complete all required tasks and duties as assigned with minimal supervision. The candidate will be expected to provide assistance in training of new employees.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
1. Highly skilled in operating robotic equipment both operational as well as more complex systemic faults, i.e. Robotic Vision System.
2. Operate automated systems through Human Machine Interface (HMI) to aid in fault recovery.
3. Independently learn and excel at operating multiple inventory control systems, i.e. SAP, SGP, and Savanna.
4. Identify and separate various plasma types and Intermediates for storage in Savanna WMS (Warehouse Management System).
5. Manage plasma inventory, using WMS to maintain redundancy and efficiency during storage and retrieval of raw plasma in the automated freezer.
6. Adapt and perform critical functions under high pressure situations to maintain redundancy features, during automated equipment maintenance, i.e., WMS reconfiguration.
7. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required to identify, troubleshoot and reconcile faults within Automated Systems associated with the Automated Storage and Retrieval System and conveyor system.
8. Interpret and verify freezer work orders as issued from Plasma Management System (SGP).
9. Have clear and concise understanding of the automation process in order to explain to outside sources.
10. Accurately record and interpret daily log of all issues related to automated equipment and downtime for tracking and trending purposes.
11. Partner with Facility Maintenance in communicating faulty equipment in detail.
12. Train Automation Team members at each progressive level associated with all automated systems and equipment.
13. Use and understand Radio Frequency Terminal scanner capabilities.
14. Perform, confirm accuracy and reconcile discrepancies of weekly cycle counts and partner with external auditors for inventory activities that’s monitored by internal and external agencies in order to maintain SOX compliance.
15. Knowledge of validated temperature monitoring system used for printing and verifying temperature records for -35C deg freezers and +5 deg rooms at multiple facilities. Ability to identify and quickly respond to temperature issues.
16. Certification required in Fall Protection Training. (Internal Training Provided)
17. Responsible for maintaining CGMP compliance by insuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
18. Interpret and follow written procedures.
19. Have clear and structured communication with management both within and outside of department to maintain efficient workflow or resolve issues in a timely manner.
20. Assist Management in problem resolution task completion, and resource planning.
21. Work with internal and external customers including Quality, Plasma Operations, and Logistics to analyze and solve issues that may be related to the storage and handling of pallets and cases.
22. Safely operate Material Handling Equipment, i.e. electric pallet jack and fork truck, to make deliveries to on-site customers. Also, knowledge and adherence to safety guidelines for use of material handling equipment.
**Education:**
High School Diploma or GED.

3. Ability to Safely climb 90 foot vertical ladder in -35 degree C environment in order to troubleshoot and solve issues.
5. Capable of performing basic computer skills
6. Work efficiently in a fast-pace environment.
7. Work with minimum supervision and able to comprehend detailed directions and execute accordingly.
