Description
Provide direct leadership for 5+ automation maintenance technicians. Direct daily work and issue feedback, career development and progressive coaching. Participate in interviews, hiring, disciplinary and related processes in conjunction with Manager and Human Resources. Identify any training and/or performance gaps and create team and individual development plans as needed to correct. Perform staffing and scheduling analysis, make recommendations, and implement changes in partnership with Manager.Schedule preventive and corrective tasks for the maintenance team (all days and shifts) optimizing for labor, equipment availability and cost to ensure efficient and continuous operation of automation infrastructure. Critically evaluate completed work orders for accurate scope, criticality, labor, parts and required downtime - address any deficiencies as required and make long-term improvements. Perform analysis on system outputs to address any deficiencies as required.Perform breakdown analysis, loss analysis, daily/weekly maintenance review and participate in and/or conduct operations performance meetings, including any required interaction with applicable vendor resources. Track and report on key metrics, taking corrective action as required. Assist the larger management team with planning and tracking weekly maintenance activities and budget.Maintain timely and accurate asset, parts and labor history in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Create new PMs, reports, KPIs within CMMS.Prepare planned work by assigning work orders, adding parts to work orders, physically gathering parts and coordinating downtime with operations partners and/or leading team members in the effective delivery of the same.Work with vendors and internal support resources to strategically source replacement parts. Monitor performance and cost to ensure appropriateness, quality and longevity of sourced parts.Travel Required:NoEnvironment
