Job Description:

The Automation Logistics Specialists provides advanced logistics and lifecycle management expertise in support of FAA automation systems across the National Airspace System (NAS). This role focuses on coordinating and managing logistics for mission-critical hardware, software, and infrastructure that enable continuous FAA operations. Professionals in this role will ensure integrated support across the program lifecycle, align logistics efforts with FAA automation initiatives, and optimize sustainment strategies for complex, interdependent systems. Positions are available at the mid, senior, and lead levels.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate logistics inputs and outputs between the FAA, Integrated Logistics Management Team (ILMT), subcontractors/vendors, and internal contractor teams.Lead and manage integrated logistics support for complex automation systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure components.Develop and maintain logistics plans, schedules, and documentation to support FAA program requirements and automation initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, field services, contracts, and finance teams to ensure seamless lifecycle support for automation systems.Track and report program logistics status, risks, and mitigation strategies to optimize system availability and sustainment.Support FAA automation programs and NAS logistical processes to ensure mission readiness.

Mid-Level

5+ years of related experience with a BS degree (or equivalent experience).Experience coordinating logistics inputs/outputs across government, contractor, and vendor organizations.Experience supporting complex hardware, software, or infrastructure systems.Preferred: Familiarity with FAA automation systems and NAS logistics processes.

Senior-Level:

10+ years of related experience with a BS degree (or equivalent experience).Demonstrated experience leading integrated logistics support for complex, interdependent systems.Proven ability to manage program logistics schedules, risk mitigation, and lifecycle documentation.Preferred: Experience supporting FAA automation systems and NAS logistics processes.

Lead-Level:

15+ years of related experience with a BS degree (or equivalent experience).Extensive experience managing integrated logistics for large-scale FAA automation programs.Proven ability to provide strategic guidance on lifecycle management, sustainment, and risk mitigation.Experience mentoring teams and collaborating across multiple FAA stakeholders.Preferred: Deep experience with FAA automation platforms and NAS logistics processes.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
