This is a fantastic opportunity **to gain hands-on experience** and contribute to the **smooth operation of our manufacturing processes** while working for a **leading global food company.** As an **Interim Automation Engineer,** you'll play a crucial role in supporting our factory automation systems, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a temporary position lasting until the end of 2025, offering a solid foundation for your future career.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Second-Line Support:** Provide support for factory electrical automation and automation systems, assisting shift-based personnel in resolving breakdowns and understanding failure modes.
+ **Troubleshooting & Analysis:** Investigate, monitor, and eliminate recurring failure modes to support the breakdown analysis process.
+ **Process Development:** Participate in process development activities, including process design, specification, and commissioning.
+ **Documentation:** Maintain accurate consumer-centric process specifications and internal documentation independently.
+ **Collaboration:** Work effectively with a manager and technical coaches to implement projects aligned with the Manufacturing Team, Business Development as well as Maintenance & Repair
+ **Communication:** Effectively communicate project statuses, risks, and technical information to stakeholders.
**What You Will Bring**
+ **Strong problem-solving competence and a proactive approach.**
+ A **passion for automation** and a desire to learn and grow.
+ A recent degree in Automation Engineering or a related field.
+ Basic **understanding of automation** principles and systems.
+ Ability to work both **independently** and **as part of a team.**
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
+ **Effective communication skills,** both verbal and written.
+ Technical curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
**Extra Ingredients to make your adventure a success:**
+ Fluency in German (minimum B2) and English.
+ Experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
+ Familiarity with Rockwell Automation systems is a plus
