Job Purpose

Responsible for designing and building custom automation equipment and fixtures for medical device manufacturing. Must have a desire to learn and implement rapidly changing technology to deliver the best possible solution.

Provides hands-on design expertise for internal and external projectsProvides internal process analysis and recommendation for technical improvementWorks effectively with suppliers and internal resources to achieve project objectives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Designs automation equipment and fixtures for new product development and transfer projects.Uses GD&T to complete catheter assembly and sub-assembly drawingsPurchases, assembles and troubleshoots components and systems to ensure successful implementation and qualification in production.Completes equipment, fixtures and device drawings within project timelinesAccurately reports and communicates progress and bottlenecks. Seeks additional resources when needed.Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
