Summary: Seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS) design and implementation for regulated industries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5-8 years of experience in BAS design and implementation Proficiency in BAS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Tridium Niagara, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metasys Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and network protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office suite, and Bluebeam Experience with programming DDC controllers and configuring HMI/graphics interfacesResponsibilities:
Develop control system architecture and detailed design documents for BAS including HVAC, lighting, energy management, and environmental monitoring systems Specify and configure DDC controllers, instrumentation, and network infrastructure Create control logic framework, sequences of operation, and integration strategies for third-party systems (e.g., fire alarm, security, BMS) Conduct site surveys and assessments to provide formal recommendations of controls solutions and strategiesPay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
