Automation Engineer

Join our Solution Test & Release (ST&R) team as an Automation Engineer! 
Help us accelerate feedback to design by simplifying complex testing environments and developing powerful automation tools. 

In the IMS Network System Test (NWST) team, you’ll build automation frameworks to support large-scale network verification across diverse platforms, including cloud-native and virtualized IMS nodes. You'll work with technologies like Linux, K8s, Docker, and RHOSP — using scripting and orchestration to manage a wide range of systems and network functions. 

 

What you will do:  

Develop and integrate automation systems to streamline our complex testing environment 

Build libraries, web-based tools, and APIs to empower verification teams 

Explore automation and data analytics to drive continuous improvement 

Support verification teams 

The skills you bring: 

Strong GNU Linux and scripting skills  

In-depth Python expertise 

Familiarity with CI/CD 

Jenkins, Git, Gerrit and API programming 

Cloud and virtualization technology experience 

Ready to work full stack 

Strong in troubleshooting 

A team player, flexible and user centric as a developer 

Fluent English (spoken and written) 

 

Nice to have - knowledgeable about some of the following: 

Automation architecture JavaScript/Node/React  Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud Native FW TCP/IP/networking RobotFW/Rundeck/Ansible/Jenkins CI/CD tools and repository like ARM and Spinnaker Message bus technology like Kafka Basics of Mobile Networks & system testing/verification
