We are looking for a Automation Engineer to join our client on an exciting pharmaceutical plant expansion project, onsite in Kalundborg, Denmark.
Key responsibilities: Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to perform specific tasks, reducing human intervention while improving efficiency and quality. Provide direct technical support and leadership in the delivery and implementation of automation projects across industrial environments. Develop and lead Operational Technology (OT) strategies within pharmaceutical and biologics sectors to drive digital transformation. Innovate within automation and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enhance plant operations, throughput, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain strong partnerships with procurement teams, third-party vendors, and technology suppliers to support strategic initiatives. Essential requirements & qualifications: Experience in a highly regulated environment. Experience using ABB800XA (800XA) and DCS.
