How You Will Make an Impact:
Electrical:
Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCADInterpret mechanical design drawings and process for electrical requirementsResearch supplier products for assembly componentsDevelop an electrical bill of materialsPower up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specificationsWork with an electrical technician to commission systemsFull understanding of automation's effect on the processSoftware:
Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specificationsUnderstand requirements for GUI/communication interface, networking and create specifications based on these requirementsReview, repair, and redesign legacy electronicsTroubleshoot issues with existing installed systemsWrite user manuals to communicate the functionality of company-developed programsWhat do you need to do to be successful in this role:

BS degree in Engineering, (Electrical or Computer Science) or a related field5+ years of experienceProficient in Design/Drafting Tools AutoCADProficient with programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)Configuring and designing HMI systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, EXOR)AC & DC Drive configuration (e.g., Control technique, Siemens, Lenze)Proficiency in Standards for Safety, Vision Systems, Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g., Yasakawa, FANUC, Kuka), thin client, data acquisition servers, and industrial networks.
