Under limited/minimal supervision, the Automation Engineer is an experienced role that is responsible for robotic programming, troubleshooting and simulation. May be responsible for developing and deploying capital projects.
+ Responsible for robotic programming, troubleshooting, and simulation
+ Responsible for creating and troubleshooting ladder logic, function block and structured text
+ Integration of equipment from design, controls, mechanical system to final production
+ Will work on tool design and troubleshoot
+ Coordinate project stages, task tracking and reporting
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (electrical engineering preferred) with 2-5 years of experience
+ AutoCAD electrical drawing or equivalent required, 3D modeling preferred
+ Experience with Fanuc, ABB, Kuka preferred
+ Experience creating and troubleshooting ladder logic, function block, structured text - PLC
+ Networking experience - manufacturing execution system (Ignition or FT - Optics, Kepware, SQL)
+ Experience working with automated equipment
+ Experience with capital requests
+ Lean manufacturing and cell concepts are a plus
+ Robotics
+ PLCs
+ CAD
