This role will be responsible for operating, monitoring, adjusting, and performing basic troubleshooting on multi-spindle automatic screw machines. Primary Duties: + Operate and assist in operating multi-spindle automatic screw machines. + Install chucks and collets, set and secure tooling holders. + Check parts produced for dimensional and finish conformance to specifications. Remove and reset tooling or otherwise adjust machine as required. + Maintain statistical process control charting. Also operate PC stations for charting SPC readings. + Learn to use all standard, variable and attribute gauging to check work. + Remove machined parts, bar ends and turnings from machines. Remove oil and separate chips from parts. Restock machine with raw materials. + Responsible for keeping all tooling used in their area inventoried and organized in the mini-cribs. + Learn to install and adjust tooling outlined in the 60-90-120 day skill sheet. Physical Requirements: + Continuously lifting and moving very light weight material (1-5 lbs). + Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (5-50 lbs). + Occasional lifting and moving heavy weight material up to (50 lbs. +) with assistance.
